Default TSX MP3 player

I put a deposit on a new Acura TSX yesterday that had an In-dash MP3
CD player as an option. (A regular 6-cd changer is standard, with the
option of adding either a cassette player or MP3 player. I did not
order either yet. It's single CD MP3 player.

I'm wondering if I can simply burn the MP3's onto a CD using EZCD
Creator and have the In-Dash system be able to read them or do I need
to use something else?
Currently, I have the MP3's in Folders and Sub-Folders on the
computer. Can an MP3 CD player decipher that sort of structure or do
I need to lay them out differently?

I hate choosing between the tape and MP3, but I can see that the MP3
will probably be more convenient in the long run. I'm just hoping I
can just burn them to CD the way they are right now on my computer and
have the MP3 CD player in the dash read them that way.

Thanks-
Vickie

My Sony head unit will do all of that. It depends a lot on the deck
though, you may be best heading to the dealership with a bunch of CD-Rs
and CD-RW discs of all formats and assortment. That'll tell you the
most. I doubt many here have that car yet.

Since a MP3 cd is basically a data cd, and a MP3 cd deck is basically a
cd-rom drive with an MP3 decoder in it,
theres usually a way to navigate thru folders.. some units actually have a
little screen with the folder views and such to make navigation easier.. But
if its a OEM Acura unit, be cautious, and like someone above this post said,
bring in a few cd's (you CAN make them with EZCD Creator..) Make sure you
make a Data CD instead of an Audio CD, and then throw ~400 MP3 tracks on the
cd and try making one with folders as well.

400 mp3 tracks on one CD? Maybe if you're using mp3's that are only 64kbps.
But then the sound will be awful, especially with those nice Bose speakers.
If you are using mp3's that are at least 160kbps (I use 192kbps) then you
will only fit between 110-140 songs on a CD.

If you know of a way to put 400 songs on one CD-R using decent quality
mp3's, I'd love to know how you do it.
