What do you mean "upgrade" ? If you are just speaking about the DVD, Acura
should be releasing a new DVD in the next few months. It is supposed to be a
major upgrade, but have not heard whether it is just the maps or the nav system
software too. Maybe someone here can shed some light on it.

The DVD system came out after '99. The one I have needs a hardware change to
upgrade it. That's what I was wondering about. I wonder what the cost is to
upgrade it.

IMHO, ask the dealer for an estimate. If youwant to pull it out and replace it
with a newer system, there are several out there that are just as good if not
better than the factory system and cost between $1500 and $2000 (all similar
tothe Hertz NeverLost).
