The right rear tire on my 1988 Legend Sedan with 163K miles is wearing very quickly. I was told that the alignment for this wheel cannot be performed because the adjustment is 'frozen' and, therefore, cannot be brought into proper specs for alignment. Has anyone heard of something like this? If so, how can it be remedied? Thanks in advance, Tony |

Very common for these parts to rust and not move. You could apply heat to
get them to move but it is not recommended to use heat unless you are going to replace the parts in question. Personally I have done this on my own vehicle which was a 90 Legend 4dr. But I would be less willing to do this on a customers car. The proper way to fix this is to replace the parts affected and make sure they are coated with anti-sieze before installation.
