Thanks for the response.
I called my Acura dealer (prior to reading you response). The price of an axle from the dealer is $250 per side. I am not sure if this is a remanufactured axle or a new one. For that price, I assume it is a new axle. I will call back and ask about your suggestion of replacing the joints. Acura may indeed be offering a reman axle for the Integra. I will have to
check on that. The joint that I referred to is new. Ok...let me know what you find out. I plan to get the repairs done next
week, before I get stranded. I have prices from 3 different places... General garage: $190 per side ( regular remfg axle from Car Quest..etc parts store). Honda/Acura Specialist garage: $250 per side... not sure about where parts come from...need to ask Acura Dealer: $250 per side just for the parts +labor...any idea of labor charge.... Thanks!!!
