TORRANCE, Calif. - Dec 14
For the third straight year, the TSX sports sedan was named to Car and Driver
magazine's prestigious annual list of "10Best Cars." The TSX
captured the "Best Sports Sedan" designation.
A panel of 14 journalists who spent a week evaluating 71 vehicles on the basis
of value, features and performance compiled the "10Best Cars" list.
Overall, 44 vehicles in 10 categories were nominated. The TSX has earned "10Best"
honors since its launch in 2003.
"It is always an honor to be named to the '10Best' list,"
said Dick Colliver, executive vice president, sales. "For the TSX to be
named for the third straight year is really a testament to the vehicles fun-to-drive,
sporty nature."
To keep it ahead of the competition, the TSX received significant changes for
2006 including a boost in horsepower, sporty new exterior styling and additional
state of the art interior features, including HandsFreeLink™ wireless
interface and a digital media auxiliary jack for MP3 connectivity.
"The TSX- now a '10Best' winner three years in a row,"
said the magazine, "It is one of those rare cars that make their owner
happy to buckle up every time, every day."
Acura models have earned fifteen "10Best" nominations over the
past 20 years, making it one of the most recognized nameplates in the magazine's
history.
