Hey guys im currently lookin g at buying my first car!!!!! woo

Was looking for personal experience with the Acura TL 06-07.

I'm buying it off my uncles dealership its an 07 with navigation and a lot of bells and whistles, 70k miles on it, for $14,000 maybe 13..

is 70k miles a lot for this car?

is it going to be expensive car to maintain?

is the price good?

any general information would be awesome haha

Why is asking if the cars good a trust issue with my uncle?

70K is a lot of miles for a 4 year old car. it really should have more like 50K.

there is also relatively little difference between the 2006 & 2007 TL models. and there are very few options available to the TL in general.

and that price is very very low for a 2007. according to kelly blue book a 2007 TL type s with navi should sell retail at a dealership for like $24,000 and private party for like $21,000.

my first question would be what is wrong with it and why is he selling it for very little.

otherwise, acuras are very good cars. i have a 2004, w/ navi and just hit 75K miles. it is very reliable. i get 32 mpg on the freeway and 22 combined street/hwy. never had a problem with it and will probably drive it for 200K miles. i don't really spend a lot on the car. am on my original set of brakes. first set of tires. oil changes here and there and maybe 1 a year or every 18 months service it for $200 - $400.

wow, a TL for you FIRST CAR!!!??? Setting the bar a little high aren't we? Whats next, an aston martin? TLs are awesome, IMHO the best compromise between sprt, luxury, utility, practicality, and cost for us snow-staters. That is SUPER cheap for an 07, uncle is giving you the wholesale price. Can he be my uncle????
