JUST WONDERING, WHERE WOULD YOU SHIFT IT SO YOU CAN JUST DRIVE NORMALLY?

You pull the lever down past the N which is Neutral and put it in the D position on the right side. All the way back on the right side D3 will not go into overdrive but is good for big hills.

you pull the shifter back to the spot where it says m-d. do not pull the shifter to the left into the little track. doing so will put it in the qusi manual transmission mode where you have to control shifting the gears. if you left it in the right position just below the N (neutral) spot, it will be normal automatic drive mode































my 2004 TL has the same shifter set-up.
