Default Should I get an Acura RSX?

Im going to be 16 soon and my parents asked me what kind of car I wanted. Im thinking an Acura RSX base or Type-S. Is it a good car for a teenager? When I do get it Im thinking to put a CAI and a Hondata Reflash. Should I put on a CAI and a Hondata Reflash, or are they a waste of money? I don't want to put on a turbo.

I know how to drive stick, so if I get a base, it will have a manual transmition

Yes, I think you should. Even better I'll sell you mine AND you won't have to waste your time and money doing the mods you named (even though I converted back to stock)... I still got the a/m parts.

Otherwise, the only reason I'd recommend the base model (5 speed manual), is if your considering going turbo.

Is it "a good car for a teenager"? Insurance-wise... no. But if your not paying the bill, hellsyeah! With the reflash, intake, better tires you'll be on par with an S2000.
