you do understand the question you just asked has so many variables its impossible to answer as is. narrow your question with mileage, upgrades you've done to the car. the turbos size, fuel delivery upgrades, ignition, timing, exhaust, and engine management systems have a great impact on the car stock alone so just asking how much power turboing it would make is outlandish.

even as a rough estimate im guessing 200hp to the wheels for a 2000 system. but the problem is the car cant put that power to the street. and the list goes on and on....

What kind of turbo? what other mods..

A quick example, if you put on a turbo, and don't have any additional mods, you might make 20 hp...

but if you have a bigger fuel rail, injectors, ingnition system, boost controler, larger exahust.. any or all of these things will increase the efficiency of your turbo. The engine is greater than the sum of it's parts.

Example to illustrate my point -

If a part is to give you 5hp, and another part gives you 5 hp.. putting them both on your car, might infact give you a 12 -15 hp increase if the parts compliment each other in their jobs.

Also, you don't tell us how much boost you would be running, Your answer is.. anywhere between 20hp gain and... 200hp maybe more.. mods can get pretty crazy!

More power than you can use in a front wheel drive car.

Yeah, depends of the parts you buy, remember its more than just a turbo and intercooler and pipes. your thinking about chipping ecu, bigger fuel injectors, bigger manifold, stronger axles, etc. it goes on, but you could make a easy extra 120HP easily.

depends on the turbo, how much boost you push, if you have an intercooler or not, and you're engine and exhaust set up.
