Default Changing ECU honda integra DC5 rsx?

Old ecu burnt and my mechanic ask me to change the ECU (PND33820)but when i connect the new ecu car wont start bt crank and Security comes up.

My question is, Do i need to reprogramm it ; please help me

Year 2002 / sports automatic.

like i said i dont know where the problem comes from .

Diagnosed and it show 2 error codes which are

57-03 CMP sensor

41-01-heater failure

i think there should be a problem with the o2 sensor becoz not

When i start the car it revs upto 2000RPM n makes a big noice after couple of minutes (still the same noice )then it revs to 900rpm then when i push the acccelerator it wont accelereate .... also its very hard to drive on D mode but can drive on manual mode.

My main concerning is FUEL not burning properly - so checked again with a diagnostic tool and iit says PCD timing adjustments and oxygen sensor errors

So i checked the ECU n it already burnt some of the parts (Still i can run the car with the current ECU)

thats why i need to change another stock or aftermarket ECU

What year is the vehicle?Did you reset the alarm system bec if not it won't start either, plus most of the newer vehicles do require the dealership to reprogram the comp system.

Hope that helps and best of luck.

The DC5 has an immobilizer that is matched to the key, immobilizer, and ECU. You'll have to take it to a dealer (Acura for north America and Honda for everywhere else) and have them match the new ECU to your key. Also make sure you bought the right ECU. The Type-R has it's own ECU but it works in the American RSX Type-S. The ITR and Type-S ECU won't work in a base model RSX.
