acura integra are really reliable but to Maintain it really depends on what have the motor gone through in the past. acura integra. honda civic can all surpass 200,000 mileage with regular maintenance

For cars that old, it really depands on how the former owner(s) maintained it.

Well, an Acura Integra is an expensive Civic, so it's going to be more expensive to insure than a Civic, but since they are essentially the same car (everything is interchangeable, literally, except some body components), they are about equally reliable. As for how expensive they are to maintain, I say they are expensive. Reason being, they have timing belts that need changed every 60,000 miles to the tune of $600-800 each time. Combine that with the normal tune-up parts and oil changes, and it's more expensive than a car that doesn't have a timing belt. Also, by now they are getting so old, a lot of things are going to need replaced, including suspension bushings, shocks, maybe springs, engine mounts, etc. They are good vehicles, but they aren't as great as many people make them out to be.

well what do you consider expensive?

parts are cheap and easy to come by

insurance depends on the model of the Integra i.e RS, LS, GS, GSR, Type-R)'

reliability depends on the owner, and how well he or she kept up on the maintenance

Not more then any other car , those integras are all over the place here in CA reason being is because honda built those babys right! Compared to the competition Cavalier , Sunfire , Focus, Celica and the Cougar the Integra comes out on top. Now if you have one chances are it has been molested if thats the case you could be in for a scare.Integras are still in very high demand and there i only one reason why its a great car!
