so im looking through acura rsx, and i found this.... its a "2002 Acura RSX Type S" but looking at the pics, it has a Honda sign thingy on it:

I KNOW THAT HONDA MAKES ACURA, but i was just wondering if this is an Acura RSX then why does it have the honda logo on it??

Yes that is a honda acura. Because honda makes it!

There are two reasons that this RSX would have a Honda emblem on it.















The 1st and more likely reason, is that the owner took off the Acura emblem and put a Honda one on instead.















The 2nd is that it is imported from Japan. Honda makes Acuras, but everywhere besides north america, they are still called Hondas. From the picture is does not look like it is a right hand drive car, which it would be if it was imported from Japan, and also importing a car like this would be very expensive, which is why I doubt it is reason number 2.































Today, a lot of Honda fans are into the JDM scene, which stands for Japanese Domestic Motors. This means they like the looks and the parts from the cars in japan, which sometimes differ from what we get in america. A lot of Honda owners will modify their american version to be as close to the JDM version as possibly, which is what my guess is for the RSX you posted a picture of.

yeah sorry if that disapoints u but Acura is Honda's luxury line so there pretty much the same car just price difference

Outside of North America they are called Honda.

but i was just wondering if this is an Acura RSX then why does it have the honda logo on it?? - let me answer this, outside north america its called the Honda Integra (Acura RSX) some people like to style it after the Japanese and make it look "JDM" which is also why it has the sidemarkers on the fender.
