How much would you say would be the average price for a 1997 Integra LS with 122k miles.
I'm deciding on getting one but its $2000 with over 100k miles. So what would you say the average price for the car should be? |

that IS the average price for a 13 year old car that has LESS THAN AVERAGE miles on it for a 13 year old car!
these last 300,000 miles anyway, so whay are you worried about it. But if you want some style and have a car that lasts for a million miles for the same money? look here.... http://reviews.ebay.com/1980s-Merced...:-1:LISTINGS:3 |

If it's all stock, and been well maintained it's worth about that. Keep in mind you'll have to do some work on it when you buy it. Anytime you buy a used Honda, unless you have the service records is to pull the valve cover, inspect the timing belt, valve lash, and replace the valve cover gasket and any other seals that may be leaking.

That's a good price if the body is in good shape and the car has been maintained.
Request service records. Make sure the timing belt and water pump have been replaced. There was an emissions settlement that provided new plugs and a few other things around 70k miles. See if that was done. If it's been maintained properly 122k isn't really that much for the Integra. |

Hi, I recently bought an integra for $3000 manual transmission 123k miles. the car drove well, but i wanted it working like new again.
so here is all of the work I had done: $200 to replace two axles $150 for brakes / rotor $150 rebuild powersteering pump $300 to replace 4 tires $100 to tune up / replace distributor $100 to flush all fluids: transmission, brakes, steering + oil change. $300 for timing belt / waterpump / new cam seals So $2000 for an integra is good start, expect to pay more to get it feeling newer/better and plan on keeping it. In my opinion this car is great and should last quite a long time if you take good car of it. I like my car and plan on being the last owner. |
