im gettin an acura integra gsr but the engine was replaced with a B18B engine its manual and the 3rd gear wont work and the wheel bearing on the drivers side is going out is this car worth 1350?

i had purchased a 95 integra 5 speed with 3rd gear out and had it rebuilt but it was never the same after that. if the gear is out dont spend the money to get it rebuilt i would get a new tranny. any b series tranny and motors bolt up together you can get them fairly cheap. unless you buy a gsr tranny. those can run up to a grand. for the money there is two options 1. ls tranny(B18) longer gears 2. civic si tranny (B16) shorter gears better for more racing type.































but 1350 is still not a real bad deal. in texas atleast they are expensive. you cant find one here for less than 2 grand. just a little money in it and it will be a good running car. i would say yes and buy it. good luck with your purchase

it's a 13 yr old car things wear out replace or have the transmission rebuilt I wouldn't pay more 1000.00 if you have to put more money into it

sounds like you need 3rd gear replaced in your tranny or a whole new transmission. and sounds like your cv axel may be shot those dont cost too much, i say you can get 800-1000 bucks for that car

I would find another car. Being as they put a lesser engine in than the one it came with means it was NOT taken care of to begin with.

if the body is in good shape, yes it is a good deal. so, its got an ls engine in it instead of the gsr. big deal. you can buy ls hydro transmissions for 2-300 bucks. easy changeover too. a complete gsr shell is worth at least a grand or so. so, yes that is a good deal.
