There's no doubt about it. The Mustang would win. Despite the fact that it's a little down on power versus the Acura (190 versus 201), the Mustang can put that power to the ground better thanks to it's Rear-Wheel Drive platform.
If it's not just a drag race, but a road course, then the Mustang still has the edge. Since the Mustang's Rear-Wheel Drive, it can use that power to swing the back out just enough to allow it to carry a higher speed through the corner, which generates higher exit speeds for the straightaways.
Of course, this is all assuming it's the same person driving both cars. 95% of the track time rests solely on the driver. An experienced driver with a weak car will stomp on an amateur driver with a much more powerful car because he knows how the car handles every situation. In other words, whichever driver has more experience would be the winner in this race, regardless of which car he was using, either the Acura or the Ford.
I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.
