please help ASAP? I have a 96 integra LS AUTOMATIC it already has a new transmission and now i was wondering what is the fastest/newest engine that could work in my car?

The 1.8L B18C1 (iirc). I don't believe that your transmission will support the B18C5 from the faster integras.

If you want to replace both, you could stuff the H22/H23 from the prelude in there.... if you really want to go fancy and have unlimited funds, you can put in a v6 from an accord or NSX

It's been a while, but best bang for the buck on a 14 year old car will be to put the original type of engine back in this car. You could get one from 2000 with low milage and drive the car into the ground.

YOUR B18B IS GOOD BUT THE GSR VERSIONS B18C1 WOULD BE MORE POWER OR THE EVEN MORE POWERFUL B18C5 OFF THE INTERGRA TYPE R
