i'm lookin for something not too expensive. also what are some good sounding exhuasts for it and some other good cheap upgrades i should look into? making christmas list early this year =P

Keep what you've got, most people swap to what you already have. Being LS, or GSR. (Boost gets you laid)

a b20 is a nice upgrade. there is a b20b and a b20z the b20z is a little bit faster and little more torque. you can snag them up pretty cheap. they come out of the honda crv's. you can also try a v6 (like an accord) that is the best sounding you will get for a honda exspecially with an apexi exhaust.

YEAH FOR SURE KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE IT WOULDNT MAKE SENSE TO SWAP A PERFECTLY GOOD AND STRONG PROJECT ENGINE (LS,GSR,TYPE R) IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A CHEAP WAY 2 GET A EXHAUST STRAIGHT PIPE IT

vtec is a great motor it has a high rate of acceleration you mainly see them in hondas but like the other guys said why swap a good motor for one that might give you a little more performance and the exhaust i have an 87 integra straight pipes sound mean and it dont cost much to do
