hey im looking to install a SRI. choosing one over CAI because i live in a place where the weather is very crappy. lots of rain and puddles. anyways... i was wondering wut exactly do i need to remove to install the SRI. if i remove the filter hose and the filter box. there is also a hose connected to the bottom of the filter box. do i remove that too or can i leave it?? would it affect anything? and if i do have to remove it, how would i do it?? thanks. closest thing to wut i need gets the best answer.

i had a cold air, but now the rain season has come, i've put my stock intake back on. if you're gonna put in a short ram, you have to completely remove your stock intake. pretty much everything up to the intake manifold. on my integra, there are 3 bolts connecting the stock air box to the car. there was the little hose underneath the air box, i removed it. doesn't affect anything. anyways, after removing my 3 bolts, removing the entire intake is pretty much straightforward. if the intake you decide to buy comes from a reputable company, they should also include instructions on how to remove your stock intake and install your aftermarket.
