This is sort of a 2 part question so bare with me please.































I was wondering if adding an exhaust system that will make a deep growl sound cause noise violations in Vancouver, BC. And will any aftermarket parts make my car illegal? Idk If I'm sounding weird or not but I just heard rumors.































I don't want to be marked as a "ricer" here but I really love the deep growl sound from the exhaust system. My parents hate it but I think it sounds cool. It's not as boring as the stock exhaust, but it might get annoying after a while of driving lol. Alright sooo I'm not gonna be doing any street racing or anything so I don't really need the performance boost of HP. Will I have to get a complete exhaust system for 400-800$ or is there something cheaper that I can make my car sound like a " fart canon" ?































I'm not the most car knowledgeable person so that's why I'm asking questions here. I've heard people talk about Vtec every where. What is that?

depending on your car im assuming you are driving an integra, that is very hard to get a deep sound out of an acura/honda. To get the deepest sound with out a motor swap would be an apexi exhaust, they have amazing exhausts for about $500-700. They make a deep sound that is noticeable to hear but not too loud, I think they are just the right touch to hondas.































Vtec(valve Timing and lift Electronic Control)- that is what comes in gsr integras. It is a B18 motor the same as the ls integra but the timing of the valves and different sized cam shafts and cam gears.

Well modifying your exhaust pending on your local city laws isnt illegal since it doesnt tamper with any emission laws... Some street legal brands include, Greddy, Apexi, AEM, Injen, and so on...































On my DC2 i had mugen twinloop exhaust. Cost me about 500 used locally on craigslist. (Hard to find lol)































If you just want the noise, id reccommend just slapping on a mangaflow street series muffler, you dont get any gains but get the sound pending on the pipe size.. if i recall.. its 2.25? stock?































The magnaflow exhaust isnt too bad, nice deep growl to it... Or you can opt and get a tanabe they are really quiet on lower RPM's and are louder on Higher RPMS..

get yourself a cold air intake and a different tip for your exsuast. its will sound mean and badass, and all v-tech is just a little more hp at high rpms thats all nothing special
