I have a 1997 Acura GSR
Here are some of the engines I feel comfortable to swap: H22 Type-S B18 K20 K24 J35Z6 J37A4 I also heard of a H2B but I think that's a H22 with a B series tranny What I'm asking is which engine is worth the cash and which one won't need much work has to be done. Because I don't want to spend 10 grand just to get 10 more HP. |

H2b Nah just build you a ls vtec or b20 vtec motor with some p30 pistons just do some research and you can get up to 200-250hp on pump gas
I gotta k24 motor with a k20 head put it my Integra was not a cake walk most wiring I've done ever wish I never did it myself but I did and shes pretty sweet but k-series motors are over-rated.If you want to keep it simple just get some bolt-ons and tune, tune, tune can't say that enough |

well, im not a fan of the H22, personal preference,
K-series are expensive as a hell, so if the 10g mark scares you stay away from K-series. and J-Series is V6, not sure of the cost, but im sure its prolly expensive to swap a V6. i would stick with B-series, personally the B18C1 like what comes in the integra gs-r. if you have the bucks to spend tho K-series motors are very nice although some people would call them overrated. |

well, the MOST hp difference you will get out of any of these engines is going to be 20-30 wheel hp. You can upgrade your internals, get a quality turbo kit with a GT30R turbo, a AEM EMS, and get it tuned for under $10,000 and have 400-500 WHEEL hp.
