i want to put a short ram intake on my integra. i know that i must remove the stock air filter. i also know that once i remove it there is also a hose that sticks from the bottom if the air filter box. which i think is connected to the resonator box witch is hidden behind the front bumper. I was wondering if i can leave it there or do i have to take it out?? does it affect anything? best answer gets 10pts

1. Remove the entire stock air filter assembly.

2. Put the new short ram intake on.

3. There should be a hole half way on the intake piping.

4. With a rubber hose (shoudl be included) connect it to the top half of the valve cover. IT is a breather valve.

anything else can be disregarded.

for short ram you can leave it there. you want to take of the hose that conntects it to the manifold. the cover of the intake. pretty much anything after that is optional to take off. but if you want to take everything off: http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=129

If you want to get the full potential out of the intake power wise i would leave it in but clear out some of the air direction ducting because the new intake will pull more in and the ducting would actually slow the flow to it. if youre just putting it in for the sound improvement you can leave everything alone
