so forth.? It stalled out on the freeway a few times. by the next morning it starts back up again. I have no idea what might be causing this. I have put so much money into this car already, hopefully this is something simple!!! any ideas??

If you are saying the idle is very high and suddenly drops off for a half second or so and then jumps back up, cycling like clockwork, that is a very good sign of a large vacuum leak. Look for problems (big cracks, loose hoses, etc.) on the brake booster hose and the PCV hose - those two are big enough to do that.































EDIT - yesterday I found the cause of the same thing on my daughter's Accord... bad intake manifold gasket. The high idle almost certainly means vacuum leak, and the cycling comes from the ECU hunting for a proper mixture.
