5-10 good reasons to get a integra gsr.
what upgrades should i make to it if i get it? BESIDES intake,turbo Bonus : i know this is a nube question. can the gsr kick in vtec like a civic 00 ? what rpm? |

vtec kicks hard. 5000 rpm, or adjust with a vtec timer.
i own a 98 gsr and its my baby. the mods are endless. look at passwordjdm.com or inlinefour.com 1. jdm icon. 2. pretttty fast. 3. you can make them look great. 4. probably one of the best engines below k20 5. good luck finding one thats nice, it took me 2 years. |

1. The GS-R is one of the quickest cars for the buck. Don't let muscle heads tell you that 165HP isn't a lot. In a little light-weight integra, with some appropriate modifications, you will embarass people.
2. The extra money is worth it for the performance gains over the LS/RS/GS/SE Integra's. 3. The aftermarket part market for Integra's and B-Series engines in general is HUGE! You will be able to find replacement and upgrade parts for every little thing you need, with ease. 4. Honda engines will hold up despite tons of mileage. Don't be discouraged if you keep seeing GS-R's with around 200k on them. Run a compression test, take a good look for rust and other forms of wear and tear. 5. Babe's love Integras. They're just plain sexy. Things to watch out for: The GS-R engine won't hold boost quite as well as the LS block, since the GS-R is higher compression. Integras are extremely popular candidates for theft. Invest in a passive immobilizer and some indicitive stickers, if the GS-R you buy doesn't include one. I hope you find a nice GS-R. Treat it well and it will treat you well for a long time. |
