Which Acura Legend do you think would be a better purchase?

I am looking at two cars, one is a 1991 car that is a private sale, with mileage of 173,000 miles, in fair condition with a small dent on the bumper and leather seats in okay condition (some tears). It is a private sale and the asking price is $1,000.

The other is a 1993 car, with exterior and interior in good condition, and 87,000 miles. It is sold by a dealer and the asking price is $3252.

Clearly the newer car with lower miles. Make sure there is no salvage title.

The newer car. Not only does it sound like it's in better condition but it has the Type II engine putting out 30 additional horsepower.
