above 4k? rpm in order for it not to make a bad grinding noise. how much do you think it would cost to replace it?















i looked and researched online and it said my synchronizer is bad but how much would it be to replace it? the previous owner but a stage 1 clutch in it and do you think by replacing the new with the original that it will make that noise go away? plus its only the 3rd to 4th gear that makes the little grinding noise, not on all of the gears, do you think that makes a difference on the tranny? if so how much would it be to replace the part?

Your Syncros are bad. Transmission needs rebuilt. Your transmission has to be removed and disassembled and new syncros put in. I would guess any where from a $1000 dollars on up depending if anything else is needed.
