I have a acura 2005 tl that I bought used from a used car lot. I wanted to use the hands free link but it says its locked and needs a 4 digit code. I red the manual and in able to clear the system i need to know the code. Is there a way to clear the system with out knowing the code.

Press and release the talk button and say System. The response should be "System options are setup and clear". Press and release the talk button and say "clear". The response should be "This process will clear all paired phones, clear all entries in the phone-book and clear the pass-code. Is this what you would like to do?"















Press and release the talk button and say "yes". The response should be "Preparing to clear all paired phones, all phone-book entries, and the pass-code. This may take up to 2 minutes to complete. Press and release the Talk button. After the beep, say "OK" to proceed, or say "Go Back" or "Cancel". "















Press and release the talk button and say "OK". Eventually the response should be "System has been cleared. Returning to the main menu.".
