Default Does the 2000 Acura Integra GSR come with a computer chip in the key?
Looking to buy one soon, and a friend says that will stop the car from being hotwired and can't be started with a generic key?

yes it sure does. its anti-theft because to many honda's and acura's are stolen... they are ways around it though....

the integra didnt get a computer chip in the key untill 2001. thats the reason why the 01 doesnt get stilen that often. the 2000 get stolen more than any year of the gsr.
