A friend just picked up a type s for $8000CND, so obviously it will be a little cheaper for a base.

^ your friend is lucky ^

expect to spend around $7,000-$9,000 depending on the year, mileage and paint condition.

$8,000 is a steal for a Type-S... maybe salvage title or something?

The Sport coupe package is the regular RSX. Mind you, the insurance on this car wont be cheap because its a sports car. What I did is bought an economic car ('98 Nissan 200sx) and tricked it out and made it a sports car. So I fooled the insurance company in thinking my car is just an average car. Heres a picture so you can get an idea on what you can do with any car that has potential:

Sorry its not the best picture and the car looks a little dirty lol. But I plan on getting a Ford Focus after im done modding this car and I want to mod another one. Again, Ford Focus; economic car. Tricking the insurance company is what its all about bro. Just because the car was meant to be an average run of the mill car doesn't mean you can't make it fast and sporty.
