i recently had a battery change and the radio reset it self.















i don't know the code. and i don't have the original book for the car.















What can i do ?????

only thing u can do is go to the dealer....the usual charge for this is around 85-120 dollars wich is y most ppl just put an after market radio in instead.........also in the future have radio turned off b4 u replace a battery......or when u buy a vehicle make sure u get the code......















































btw original book doesn't have the code in it either because dealers like making the extra cash from buyers.....yes its a scam but its been around for a wile and nothing u can do about it

you can get it at the dealership, honda or acura - they'll have to take it out to get the serial number so they can find the code though, they may charge you for that, and they may also charge for the code...

When I purchased my Acura, it has a small credit card type tag with the code in it hanging on the stereo knob. Its not in the manual.































You will need this code every time the power is cut off.































When you go to the dealer, you will have to show proof of ownership of the car.
