Look under the car, your muffler should have rubber hanger rings. Try using a smaller rubber ring hangers or bigger which ever meets your need,to achive more space between your muffler and the hitch. That is an easy quick and cheap fix,as these rubber ring hangers are shelf item,at auto zone.
