Doesn't really matter how they're classified,.
I recently traded my 2003 Chevy Malibu in for a 2009 Lexus IS 250. I didn't change the coverage levels, but we're talking about the difference between a car worth $5K for a car worth $35K. My insurance only went up $20/mo. I'm male, married in my 30s, have a clean driving record. Impact of vehicle type on insurance generally isn't nearly as much as most people think. It's more about your demographic (gender, age, married/single, where you live) and your driving record. There is only one way to figure out what your insurance will cost for you personally for any vehicle.....call your insurance company and ask. |
