i'm not sure of which one, 2025 or a 2016, it didn't have one in it when i got it

Depends on what you want to spend for a new one. The only thing you need to do is make sure the negative and positive terminals are on the same side as the old one. You will need to take the old one in with you when you purchase the ne one so check then. Height, width and length, so it will set in the battery area securely.
