...blinker is on!?!? Maybe Im just weird but this noise just started today. When I turn the steering wheel without the blinker on it does not make any noise but if I have the turning signal lever up or down (to turn left or right), the steering wheel clicks. I know some of you are going to think its the normal noise it does to release the turning lever but its not that because the lever stays put. The steering wheel just clicks when I turn it past a certain point while doing the turn. Again, this only occurs if the blinker is on. Am I just crazy or has anyone seen this before? Should I take it in? I have a couple thousand miles of warranty left but I just wanted an opinion before I go is in case they try to blow me off. Plus, I bet when I take it the wheel wont make any noise in front of them.

i would say the blinker switch is loose in the steering column.. you will need to have the steering wheel removed and the switch tightened up .

It's a ratchet mechanism to clear the signal when you straighten the front wheels out when exiting the turn. If it does not cancel, the ratchet mechanism is worn out.

You have a worn directional signal mechanism. Since it is an 06, it should be covered by your warranty.
