I'd recommend you not to purchase this car, you do not know what other major problems you may run into down the road. Also it's just an LS, I wouldn't fret about an LS. Why don't you wait until you come across a GS-R or perhaps an RSX-S?

Dump the car. It's not worth all that hassle. Get a newer Type R or RSX-S (replaced the Integra in 2002). The Integra GS-R has an enormous amount of aftermarket support, and with the right mods (turbo), will smoke most other cars on the street. (Don't waste your time with an LS, you won't get any performance out of it)

I hate when someone asks a question such as this and all everyone does is come back with a response to trade your car for a GS-R.... Sometimes that's not a option. Also you may be young still and insurance rates would murder you on a GS-R.. But considering the money you've put into it on recent repairs (which are some pretty major repairs) i'd say keep the car. Go ahead a spend that 1200 to get her back. I had a 97 LS with 170K when i bought her for 4k then drove her for 2 and a half years and got her over 200K and took her on a 8 hour round trip road trip once a month.. She never gave me a single ounce of problems. She was still running strong when i had to give her up cause of a car accident with 210K... The only thing i ever had to replace was a battery.. and it was the original battery.. But to get back on topic... I think your car still has a lot of life left. I'd say get her back and start saving for a new car and just drive this one till she dies. Considering she'll have a salvaged title you wouldn't get much if you tired to sell her. But if trading this one off now for a GS-R is an option then go for it. Just be sure to check insurance rates before you buy the car. It was gonna be like 4 times as much for me than my LS...
