miles are left? Looking for a good reliable full size Import without spending an arm and leg.















I'm also shopping 2000-2002 Infinity I30's with 80-110K.















How do they compare longevity and maintenance wise?

The Acura could keep going and going basically as long as you want it to, assuming that you take care of required maintenance/repairs. We have a 2001 CL Type S with 150,000 on it. The car works as well today as it did the day was came off the assembly line. It has had new motor mounts, an electric motor for the seat... other than that, I really can't think of anything. Oh... the car did get a new transmission but that was because of the Acura transmission recall issue, I had never noticed a problem. The engine uses no oil at all. No loss of compression or power, still has original water pump, AC compressor, etc. I should add that i tend to drive a little fast... but all those parts which by now on an American car have been replaced at least once are still going strong on this car. I have no reason to think a RL would be any different.































The dealer does take care of all the maintenance and every 60,000 miles, you have a MAJOR maintenance interval, which is not inexpensive but the way I look at it, it amounts to 2 or 3 months worth of payments for a new car. Then there is basically nothing until you get another 60,000 miles. So I'll take that any day.































I really don't know much about the I30 though I did drive the girlfriends back in the mid to later 90s. She had no trouble with it that I recall, I just was't all that thrilled with it.

I really can't tell you right now because my " 8 Ball" is out for repair.
