I just bought this car and want to install a K&N air filter, but I am unable to remove the box over the air filter. Anyone installed one on their TL and know how to remove it?

If its just a drop in replacement filter, than you just put it in like your changing your stock paper filter. Usually, there are some metal tabs or "lever" type things on the side/bottom of the square plastic box that you have to undo first to lift off the panel covering it. But, your best bet is to use your service manual to show you exactly what to do, OR, google search an online service manual on how to change your air filter. The same rules would apply for you Kand N, but you would just replace it. Hope this helps.
