ive been losing my mind lately on which one i should get...i love both cars...i know insurance is higher on the type s, the type s has 13 more hp,and all the basic specs, but what would you base it on if you were to pick between these two? any type of insight would be great...which has more potential (cosmetically, performance,interior)?















i was thinking about getting black in both... the si would have hfp rims and id get some gold eneki rims (possibly) on the type s...any kinda advice or help would be great... thank you very much...

I personally would get the RSX.. I just think it looks cooler.. But it's your car.. Get whatever you think will make you the happiest

When you actually get to be buying one then as it will be a nearly four year old rarish car the choice may be limited. You would be better to base your final decision on condition, miles and service history rather than the stuff you are talking about.

Just a correction:































2005 RSX-S has 210hp using the old method of measurement.















2006 RSX-S has 201hp using a new method of power measurement.















2006 Civic Si has 197hp using the same method of power measurement used on the last RSX-S and the same method is used on all current cars.































This means that the real difference between a 05-06' RSX-S and a last gen civic si is 4hp.































Regarding your choice the suggestion of "Timbo is here" is the most wise.

i've owned both, and all i drive is honda products, from my lawn-mower to my SUV. the best car decision i've ever made was the RSX. solid car..quick, stiff and looks alot better!

I use to be in your shoes. I went with the RSX-S and i am damn glad i did. Looks a lot better. I hate the gauges in the si and love the rsx ones. no other real big difference, 4hp aint much either but still GET THE RSX-S.
