Simple answer. Hondas are economy, Acuras are luxury. An Acura will be made a little bit more solid than a Honda, which is why you pay more for the car. Same goes with Ford and Volvo.

They are the same car. The Acura has more content and snob appeal.

Acura's are built a little better. They are made ot be the racier sportier and more luxury version on their sister company Honda. Hence the cars are a lot alike but with way more options to choose from

Acura's are only sold in the US. in japan, all hondas are hondas. for example, the RSX in the US is the Integra in Japan. if you look closely, ull see a small resemblance to the integras from before. Acura was made up so they could sell hondas for a higher price. think about it..would u want to buy a HONDA NSX for 80 grand or a ACURA NSX for 80 grand? that was the thought behind it. Americans thought that people woudnt buy an expensive Honda because Hondas are known to be affordable. i prefer Honda badging over Acura. If its a honda, let it be a honda. its the same company, built the same. another example, Lexus is Toyota. The lexus are just more luxurious.

For one thing Acura has a better warranty. 4 years compared to Honda's 3.















Also it's more high end or it's supposed to be but most of the parts in a Acura can also be found on a Honda.















Trim level is a little better.















I've heard you get better treatment at the service department but I've had an Acura and now have a Honda and I don't see any difference.































So in a nutshell if you like the Acura buy one else buy a Honda.

More options - more luxury than a Honda. However, what we call Acuras are Hondas in other places. What we call the Acura TSX is called the Honda Accord in Europe. Their Honda Accord is therefore much smaller than the U.S. Accord.

acura is the higher up model of honda just like infiniti to nissan and lexus to toyota. The acura has more standard equipment so a higher price tag. I own a 06 tsx, bought new 11/06. It has 90,000+problem free miles.
