Default what kind of oil do i need to put in a 97 acura integra car?
I need an oil change and I was wondering how do i find out what kind of oil do i need for an acura integra 1997 stick shift with 122,000 miles on it????

at this stage your gonna want to go with SLICK 50. it protects your engine and help it performance. slick 50 is the name of the bottle. If your just looking for the grade your gonna want to go with wd30

5w30 10w30 10w40does your car use oil between oil changes go with 10w30 uses a lot go with 10w40 does not used oil go with 5w30

any brand is fine...but i recommend these...mobil 1, royal purple, redline, and enos....and yes the other poster is right about the oil...if you burn or lose oil then go to a thicker grade....

go with a non synthetic 5w30 or 0w30 and see if it burns oil on that. If it does move to something like a 10w30 cuz your rings are probably going out like mine. (175k gsr here)

I used 10w30 because its hot but you can use 5w30 here's a link on how to change the oil.http://www.itr1220.com/oilchange.htm
