I have 1996 model acura integra with 80 000 miles on it. Its LS Sedan and is in good condition. Does it qualify for cash for clunker program?And now if i buy preowned Nissan 350z or may be infiniti coupe or may be ultima coupe, would I able to save lot of money?Do I have to buy a new one

I am sorry but your car would not qualify for the program because it has a combine MPG rating of 24 MPG. For a trade-in to qualify it must have a combined MPG rating of 18 or less.The Cash for Clunkers program is only for the purchase of a new car.

I wouldn't worry about cash -4- Clunkers. The reason why is the max you can get for the program is $4500, your car is worth $4000 in good condition. you could trade it in or sell it outright for almost the same amount as cash for clunkers.
