Unless you let the insurance know about the modifications you made, and paid extra for the insurance coverage, you will only get fair market value if and when they decide it doesn't have much of a chance of being recovered, which will be 30 days from now at a minimum.Realistically if you don't get it back in a week, you will never see it again. It is probably already broken down into parts and on a ship somewhere.

you should let them know about the license plate number, they can track it down by that. But also i would check the area and look around. good luck, i hope you find your acura.

Well first off you will never see this car again. Im not trying to be mean, but by now the car has been totally stripped down, all the parts are gone and the metal has probably been melted down. The insurance, IF you have full coverage, will only cover 80% of the NADA value of the car, which is about $2,500-$3,000. Keep in mind that I am in now way being rude or mean, but it is the harsh reality that makes it true. You may want to check with the person you bought it from, seems like they knew where it was, and possibly had another key.....

Zero to none. It's now been sold as a million parts.
