DC2 and DC4 are the hatchback models while the DB7 and DB8 models are the sedan models. The DC4 and DB7 are the non-vtec models which are RS, GS, LS, LS-S. The DC2 and DB8 are the vtec models which are the GSR and Type-R. Basically these are off the vin code and people use them mostly instead of the actuals car name, like for example when an Integra Type-R drives by they might say "oh that is a nice DC2." Its not just for integras though, the same thing is used on almost all imports, each one has its own special code.
