i have a 2000 integra gsr with a crv b20b swaped engine. i searched and the original engine of the integra is way better. i just want to know if the b20 is is also a good engine for my integra. good i mean like ok fast even in stock. i just bought the car and dont know much about car stuff hehe

What a lot of people do is use the B20 bottom end from a CRV and use the top end of the Integra LS motor. This is a great setup, but if you are just leaving it stock, I would swap motors.

The b20 engine is out of Honda CR-V. It's not a good engine compared to the original GSR engine which is a B18C1. The GSR engine has VTEC while the B20 doesnt. The GSR engine has 170hp and the CR-V only has about 146hp. That makes a big difference in a light import like the Integra. However if you want to make something fast out of it just take off the B20 head and put on a Integra GSR head, people call that the LS/VTEC. Then your engine will make some even bigger numbers. b20 with the gsr head is a ls/vtec..????....i always thought it was called b20vtec....and lsvtec was when you had the gsr head (b18c) or b16 head on the ls block (b18a/b18b)....well anyways...the b20 wont allow you to smog your car....its only worth 350-600 bucks while the b18c is worth 1000+....its a downgrade really...and most likely the previous owner blew the motor and couldnt afford the replacement and settled for a cheap one or swaped it out to keep the gsr motor to begin with....the b20 is still okay..but it has weak side walls so it cant really handle alot of boost nor high rpm revs...and just wanted to say that YOU GOT SCREWED on this car purchase...
