ok so i know many things are cheap and bad from ebay.. but something as simple as a short shifter and intake?? are they cheap and bad??

Many good sellers have left ebay, due to increasing risks and costs. Many of the ones that are left (not all) are not selling quality items. Be very careful, and shop around. You most likely can find the item elsewhere, at a better quality, for less

It's a risk. Imagine buying you intake, but then it doesn't fit properly. You get for what you pay for in cars. So its up to you to take a risk. I would never get Ebay parts.
