Default I have a 2004 Acura RSX and I would like to know when I should do a tune up. It's at 75,000...

...now. Thanks? It's a manual transmission. When I drive past 70 mph, my steering wheel starts to shake. Not quite sure if it's the balance of the tire that is causing that. Also, every so often when I push on the clutch and switch gears, it gets stuck or it gets really hard for me to switch it to any gear. I would have to force it in all 5 gears and reverse. Maybe I just need EVERYTHING done to my car. =[It's a manual transmission. When I drive past 70 mph, my steering wheel starts to shake. Check your owners manual. Is there something wrong with the car? Is it shaking when you come to a start? Do you feel any kind of mechanical problems as you drive or idle? If so, check with the mechanic if you need a tune up.

yeah check the owners manual. depending on how you drive, and if its automatic or manual transmission? you might just wanna go ahead and do a tune up. its not going to hurt. you should flush the transmission as well.

At 75,000 miles, you are due for a minor service.Your next major service should be done at 90,000. You will want to replace the timing belt, and make sure that your valve lash is properly adjusted. All this wonderful information can be found in your owners manual.

robert e. lee is right... And by the way, RSX's don't have timing belts; they have timing chains. Depending on how you drive it, you may need a tensioner for it but its doubtful, my 02 type-s has 128k miles on it and i haven't had any problems with it.
