i'm trying to figure out what each wire does on the rear left window plug. i want to know whats the ground power and whatever else they are. my window went down but won't go up and i'm thinking it might have something to with the switch

Guess you have checked the main switch on drivers door ,if its in the off position window will not go up or down or anything at all,either from the door switch or the drivers door control panel!!the only window that will work is the drivers one!! Check you plugs with a volt meter,most unlikely to be a broken wire!! Get a good contact cleaner like WD/40 & drown the plugs work them several times to free them up!!DO THE SAME for the door switches,there is just a tiny wee bit of plastic,with sliver of metal on it,which is controlled by the door switch!!The switch rolls forward or back as required,window up or down!!Not used very often,disturb the build up no contact..
