Hi i wanted to buy a car and i found someone selling me a acura integra LS 1998. pretty much its ok just the body is a little damaged im ok with that but i was wondering how much it would cost to fix the transmission since his is broken its an automatic and i want to keep it that way. He said it needs a new one so how much would it be to get a new transmission and have it installed. Also if i wanted to fix the body and change the tires because he also said i might need new tires how much would that cost. please i would like you to answer with a separate price for the transmission and the body with the tires and a cost with everything totaled together. thank you in advance.sorry about not telling where the body was damaged its damaged in the rear bumper and the front bumper just a bunch of cracks but i would probably have to replace it and its pretty messed up around the front left wheel between the headlights and the mirror on the door of the car basically around the wheel.

You didnt specify what is wrong with the body so I cant really answer that, but as far as the tranny its probably gonna run you about 1500 dollars including labor and tires about 700 for all four, maybe a little less on the tires.

For transmission. You can find used ones especially automatic for $175~$250. For labor it will be about $500~$700 because it takes a good two hours to take it off and then another two to put it back together. However, the problem might be minimal so it can actually be a lot less. I bought an integra couple years back and the kid told me the tranny was broken, when I started to take it out it turned out the cv joint was shattered and I replaced it which saved me a lot of money and the car ran perfect. The body damage. You are looking at about $200 for the body parts. They are easy to swap out and it can be done in an hour with a basic tool set.The tires. I would say $700.Total. You are looking at about 1850.
