planning on buying an rsx and happened to come acrossa 2002 in great condition for 7000 with 48k miles on itis that a good deal?

It's too cheap. Have your mechanic check it out.

Makes me wonder what is wrong with the car...Take it to a mechanic and have them perform a compression and leak down test on it. This way you will know if the block isnt shot.But the price sounds too good to be true.,..

Check over it carefully! It sounds too good to be true; so it probably is... Even so, if the motor is fine then buy the car just for that and sale the shell and drop the k20 in to a hatch or integra or del sol or something like that.By the way, just for reference, I paid 11k for my 02 type-s with 113k miles on it. So if there is nothing wrong with the car, jump on it before it gets gone!

yes thats a pretty good deal. i bought my 04 type s with 48k on it for $13,000
