OK. A year ago, I bought Brand new 2007 acura Tl from an acura dealership.Yesterday, I called up the acura dealership (near my house) to fix two problems that I had with my car.(1) remote problem When I try to unlock the car with the remote, I found out that remote does not work with the car.(2) I had navigation problem which it won't read nav dvd and automatically shuts off.At first place, dealer told me that everything is covered by warranties.Couple hours later, they notify me that these are NOT covered by warranties since they found out this vehicle is wrecked and body work has been done on one side of door panel. I had only 5300 miles on this car and I've never involved in any kind of accidents. (Car had 41 miles by the time of purchase.)What can I do at this points? PLEASE HELP!!!!Yes I did purchase it as NEW car.It came with factory certificate and warranties. By the time I purchase this car, nothing showed up on CARFAX.I will go ahead and purchase CARFAX and let you guys know. Call the dealer you bought it from and talk to the owner or general manager and tell them of your problem. And see what there solution is.............If you get no satisfaction then call Acuras main office. Be polite and listen and don't threaten them. You get more flys with honey than vinegar. If all else fails ( give them every opportunity) then you may or may not sue depending on the case....md

Yup like Jed said call the dealership and talk to the manager. If they do not do anything about it. Sue them since they did not inform of the car being damaged before hand.

First of all, if you bought a 2007 acura TL in 2008 it wasn't brand new, it had been sitting on a lot or moved between lots until you bought it. Second, if they really did sell you the car as a new car with a factory warranty, and it really was wrecked before you bought it, that is fraud. Get a carfax report, Talk to the general manager, even the owner of the dealership and explain and research your situation with them. If that doesn't get you anywhere get yourself a lawyer. More details on purchasing date and paperwork would be recommended.
