supposedly it wont start up without a CD and I dont have the CD for it does anybody know where I would be able to get one?

The dealer (if you can still find one with the software) or wareseeker.com/free-acura-tl-2002/ . I hope this helps

There have been at least 2 updates on the system in your TL since it was new. The dealer may have it but I would first try the following ACURA site:http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...Default-StartI have a 2003 CL-S and upgraded with a new disc 3 yrs ago. Another, newer version ...Acura DVD Map Update INMD v2.60...is now available.
